Here, you’ll be welcomed by Kyrgyz host families who spend their summers tending to their herds of sheep, cattle, and horses. The pinnacle of your adventure awaits on the fourth day as you ascend to the summit of Ak Tor Pass, standing at a majestic 3,500 meters above sea level. From this lofty vantage point, gaze upon the sweeping vistas of the Alay Valley unfolding in every direction, a sight that will leave you in awe of nature’s grandeur.

Throughout your expedition, relish in the serenity of Airy Bell Pass, where the rugged beauty of the mountains serves as a backdrop to your unforgettable journey. Day 1: Osh City – Kara Bulak Village – Tepshi Camp

Begin your journey by driving from Osh to Gulcha along the Pamir Highway. Follow the dirt road along Kara Bulak stream towards Tepshi camp, passing by shepherds’ yurts among junipers. Leave the road near the top to ascend a trail along the ridge, where you'll enjoy lunch with a view of the rugged Alay mountains across the Gulcha river gorge. Descend to Tepshi camp at 2710m to meet your host for dinner.

Day 2: Tepshi Camp – Airy Bell Pass – Sary Oi Yurt Camp

Begin the day with a hearty breakfast before setting off towards Airy Bell Pass at 2950m. Embark on a scenic trail from your yurt, leading you to the summit with an invigorating hour-long ride. Marvel at the breathtaking panorama of the Kum Bell Mountains unfolding to the west. After descending to Cholo Kaiyng Gorge, pause for a satisfying lunch break. Follow a dirt road along a tranquil river to reach the Sary Oi camp at 2270m. Upon arrival, immerse yourself in the daily routines of nomadic life alongside your gracious hosts. Conclude the day with a delightful dinner shared in the warmth of the yurt.

Day 3: Sary Oi Camp to the foot of Ak Tor Pass

Begin the third day with a wholesome breakfast followed by a fascinating demonstration of milking and crafting dairy products from horse and cow milk. Enjoy a relaxed morning before commencing your descent from Sary Oi summer camp towards the river. Follow the upstream path, skirting a precipitous gorge, and pause for lunch near a shepherd's tent, offering a fresh perspective of the craggy mountain ridge you traversed the day before. Continue your journey along winding trails through a tranquil pine forest, eventually arriving at the foot of Ak Tor Pass at 3040m. Welcome the evening at a private yurt, where you'll share a delectable dinner with your fellow travelers.

Day 4: Ak Tor Pass – Murdash Valley – Uch Chat Camp

Indulge in a delightful breakfast before embarking on your journey. Cross the headwaters of the river and head south towards the entrance of the pass. A brief yet steep 500-meter ride leads you to the summit of Ak Tor Pass, towering at 3500 meters. Along the ascent, marvel at the rugged beauty of the Asan Korgon Range's sharp rock walls. Pause at the highest point for a well-deserved lunch, accompanied by awe-inspiring views of the majestic Alay Mountain Ranges.

As the afternoon unfolds, descend from the pass alongside a new stream, eventually reaching a final dirt road. As the day draws to a close, continue your ride towards Uch Chat summer camp, where your host's yurt awaits. Upon arrival, partake in welcoming teas before embarking on a leisurely walk around the scenic valley dotted with shepherds' yurts, immersing yourself in the rhythms of local life. Conclude your day with a satisfying dinner shared in the warmth of the yurt.

Day 5: To Osh City over Murdash village

Start the day with a hearty breakfast as we bid farewell to our crew and host family, setting out for Osh city. Our scenic 20 km drive winds through picturesque gorges with gushing rivers, offering captivating views along the way. Upon reaching the main road, we continue our journey on a smooth road all the way to Osh city. Arrive at your hotel by midday, just in time for lunch. With this, we conclude our unforgettable tour amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Kyrgyzstan.
